  1. You need 2 cup of Boiled chickpeas.
  2. It's 1 cup of chopped onions.
  3. It's 1 of tomatoes chopped.
  4. You need 1 tbls of ginger garlic paste.
  5. You need 1/2 cup of oil.
  6. You need 1 tbls of coriander powder.
  7. It's 1/2 tbls of red chilli powder.
  8. Prepare 1 tsp of cumin powder.
  9. It's 1 tsp of turmeric powder.

  12. You need 1 cup of Water.
  13. Prepare of Parathas (as required).

Chole Paratha is a protein rich , healthy and nutritious Indian flat bread that is made from chickpeas (chole) ,few spices and whole wheat flour. I mostly make this when i have excess chole that i cooked for making chole or channa masala and often pack this paratha for kids lunch box along with some yogurt and pickle the next day. Add cashew nut paste, coriander, cumin powder, salt & sugar mix well & let it boil.

  1. In a wok add oil and ginger garlic paste cook for 30 seconds and add onions and tomatoes cook then for 2 minutes..
  2. Now add spices red chilli powder, turmeric powder, black pepper, coriander powder, chicken powder, cumin powder and salt..
  3. Bhunify this for a minute then add chickpeas and along with a cup of water. Cover and cook on low flame for 5 minutes..
  4. Then bhunify on medium high flame till oil comes out..
  5. Tasty chickpea gravy is ready to serve with paratha..

Add chopped coriander leaves & cut of heat. Garnish with butter and serve hot with rice, or chapati.
